Hannes Dohrn (PDF Tools AG)

Hannes Dohrn brings a deep, cross-disciplinary expertise in document technology, with roots in both academic research and enterprise-grade software development. At the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, his research explored structured information within documents, laying the groundwork for his later work as Co-Founder and CTO of EDITIVE, where he built advanced document comparison and management systems. At Pdftools, he now serves as a Solution Architect, applying his knowledge to the challenges of PDF processing at scale—with a particular focus on accessibility, automation, and long-term document lifecycle support.
